Before event development

I've never been in a hackathon.

Can I just show up with some to most of the app done on the 16th?

Feb 14th is valentines I gotta take my girl out and were throwing a party so I'm gonna be too hung over on the 15th to get anything done, but i like the idea of this app so ideally I would like to contribute.

    Hey there. You can show up with as much or as little done as you'd like.

    However, we're actually considering pushing the event back one or two weeks due to other local hackathons that were just announced. We should have it figured out for sure in one or two days, and I'll update you here.

    Pushing it back would be awesome. V-day + HackOut would make it difficult to rally the troops.

    Hi there, thanks for your feedback.

    Rescheduling was going to conflict with one of our judges ability to participate, so we decided to keep the current date. But there's no reason you can't participate in both! :)

    In fact, we don't have any rules about pre-developed code, so you could even build some of your app beforehand and put the finishing touches on it that weekend for submission.
